Science Boat Experiement

In science we learned about how scientist use the scientifc process. To practice this, oth classes conducted our first experiment. We worked to answer the question: What type of boat will hold the most pennies? Together we went step by step through the scientific process.


1. identify the problem

2. make a hypothesis

3. conduct an experiment

4. collect observations

5. come to a conclusion

 

We concluded the big flat bottomed boats hold the most pennies. One boat in Ms. Garcia and Ms. Malaney’s class held 47 pennies!!!
