Room 201 Market Day

Here are some fun pictures from Room 201's Market Day.  The kids had a blast selling their goods and offering their services.  We were so impressed with all of their hard work and creativity!

 First we arranged our desks so that everyone could display their stores' signs.

Once our market opened, business was booming!

Students closed their store at times so that they could do some shopping.

There was even a shoe shining service!

    Our class decided to use the tickets they earn for going above and beyond as currency at the market.

Room 204's Trip To Oberweis Dairy

Today we went to Oberweis Dairy in Aurora! We watched a video about the founding of Oberweis and the different types of milk processing they do there. We learned about the delivery service they offer and their famous ice cream. At the end we visited their Dairy Store and sampled the vanilla ice cream! The kids had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes of how milk goes from farm to table.

Room 204's Market Day

Yesterday's market was a HUGE success. I'm sure your child was eager to show you what they purchased from their classmates. Here are some pictures of our class enjoying buying and selling the goods and services at our market.
