Calling All First Communion Photographers!!

We'd love to share some of your photographs of First Communion with parishioners.  Alice Doering, our Religious Ed Director, is looking for photographs to put in the church bulletin.  If you're able, we'd appreciate it if you could send some of your photos to Alice at alice@icsnorthpark.com.  Thanks so much!

Crowning of Mary Mass

The whole school gathered today as we crowned our mother Mary. The second graders and eighth graders had a special role in today's Mass as both grades received Sacraments this year. We brought flowers to Mary one by one. Here are some pictures of Mass!

Reusing trash and creating junk "art"

Today we spent our science period reusing trash and making art. The students have a good understanding of both recycling and reducing, but we wanted to take an opportunity to practice reusing materials. They had a blast! Everyone created multiple different pieces of "art". We hope parents weren't too disappointed to see the trash they sent to school come back home with them this afternoon. :) Here are some pictures of their creations.

First Communion Practice

Yesterday the second grade practiced for their First Holy Communion this Saturday. Father Larry helped explain what the day will look like and the communicants were able to taste the unconsecrated    wine. We are continuing to prepare in class and are very excited to share this special day with your families.
